We want to discuss the potential of immersive virtual reality and machine learning for training in the world of work.
It is important to have the approval of citizens on the help of the innovative technologies used in the project.
Prototypes of the process mining techniques that researchers from the KDDE laboratory (Knowledge Discovery and Data Engineering) have developed in the Kometa project have been published. The results achieved by applying these techniques are described in the technical report entitled "Results of the evaluation of process mining techniques in the Kometa project".
Prototypes and technical report are public and available at the link.
On Wednesday 7 October, at 11 am, in the city of Mesagne at the Auditorium del Castello in via Castello, a new training workshop of the Kometa (Knowledge Community for Efficient Training Through Virtual Technologies) project will take place in compliance with anti-covid regulations. , funded by the INNOLABS regional call, POR Puglia FESR FSE 2014-2020 - Sub-Action 1.4.B, and promoted by three SMEs (MTM Project srl as leader, Cinemagica srl, Hevolus srl), Acquedotto Pugliese spa, Apulian Water Authority and the 'University of Bari - Department of Computer Science.
SUBMITTED TO THE IEEE 2020 CONFERENCE
The IEEE EIAS 2020 (International Conference on Evolving and Adaptive Intelligent Systems), aimed at exchanging innovations to face future challenges in the field of adaptive technological systems, stopped in Bari from 27 to 29 May. During the work, with the partnership of the Computer Science Department of the University of Bari, the scientific work entitled "Training in a Virtual Learning Environment: A Process Mining Approach" was presented. In particular, Prof. Appice reported on the results achieved with the innovative process mining techniques that the researchers of the KDDE laboratory have developed in the Kometa project.
